Thomas Markle to create clothing line?
Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex’s father, Thomas Markle, is reportedly developing a clothing line.
The former Hollywood lighting director, who recently claimed he was not invited to the wedding ceremony between his daughter and Britain’s Prince Harry, may soon be designing menswear.
According to Page Six, Thomas’ daughter and the former Suits actress’ half-sister, Samantha Grant, announced the news via her private Twitter account.
“So excited about my father’s new #clothing line for men!” she reportedly wrote. “Will keep you posted!”
Samantha has previously spoken candidly about her hopes to profit from her 37-year-old sibling’s fame.
“Let’s face it – we all have to survive,” the 53-year-old told Good Morning Britain in July. “Money makes the world go round, so if you want to call that cashing in, that’s fine, but I think no one in media would refuse a paycheck for talking about the royals and, as a family, we’re not subject to royal protocol.”
“With all due respect, it’s not just Meghan. We’re entitled to share that,” she added. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. It’s not disparaging. It’s not harmful.”
