The Philadelphia Eagles just couldn’t resist.

Before Thursday night’s pre-season tilt with the New England Patriots, the world champions took some time to remind everyone in Foxborough who won Super Bowl 52 in case they forgot.

It all started with a tweet from the Eagles’ official Twitter account showing two jerseys with the numbers 41 and 33 — the score of the game — that just happened to be next to each other.

Philadelphia players then followed with some brilliant tweets to rub in the franchise’s first Super Bowl victory.

But during the game, one Eagles fan topped them all by flying an airplane over the stadium with a banner that read, “41-33 Philly Philly SB LII.”
